Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, attended the inauguration of Danone Egypt’s new production line at the company’s Obour factory, launched with investments of EGP 250 million as part of Danone’s strategy to expand production capacity and support exports.
During the visit, the Minister toured the factory and reviewed the company’s investment plans, production capabilities, and the role of the new line in increasing output and supporting Egypt’s food manufacturing sector.
Hesham Radwan, General Manager of Danone Egypt, said the new investment reflects the company’s confidence in the Egyptian market and its commitment to strengthening local production, advancing localization, and expanding exports to Arab and African markets.
